Macmillan CARE Grants

Macmillan have launched a pilot CARE programme to test how community led approaches can tackle deep rooted unfairness in cancer care.

Grants of between £50,000 and £150,000 are available with a total pot value of £1.5million for the first found. The grant focuses on 3 key areas- cultural responsiveness in cancer care, shared decision making and dementia friendly cancer care. Staff and people costs, project delivery costs and evaluation and learning costs are able to be included. Any VCFSE organisation based and working in the UK is eligible to apply.

There are information webinars planned for 11 December 2025 (18:00 - 19:00)  and 8 January 2026 (15:30 - 16:30)

The deadline for applications is 23 January 2026.
