Stockport’s VCFSE Sector

There are over 1,672 VCFSE’s in Stockport*

These Voluntary, Community, Faith-based and Social Enterprise organisations support local communities in more ways than you can imagine.

Helping people to face the day, overcome barriers in their life, access vital life-changing support and so much more. These services do what they do so that everyday people can thrive past their challenges to become stronger and enjoy a better quality of life.

The people who deliver these services know their neighbourhoods and communities better than most. They understand what people need and what works for them.

Not only does our VCFSE Sector help people to thrive, but it plays a huge role in prevention.

It keeps people out of harm through a network of individuals with similar experiences to lean on and learn from.

We believe this invaluable resource deserves adequate investment and resource so that it can continue to deliver vital responsive and preventative services in the heart of our neighbourhoods.

Our mission at Sector3, as Stockport’s charity infrastructure support service, is to support the VCFSE sector to thrive, not just survive.
