About the programme
The NHS Community Voices Programme builds on the role of Stockport's voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector as a trusted partner to ensure residents' voices help shape local health services.
Working with seven anchor organisations, the programme gathers feedback and insights from residents on a range of NHS services and health-related issues. These findings are shared with public health partners to support service improvements, and with local community organisations to provide valuable insight that can spark new ideas, strengthen local support, and create opportunities for collaboration.
A key focus of the programme is reaching people whose voices are least often heard, ensuring that the experiences of marginalised communities help inform decision-making and future service development.
Programme Partners
Throuhg the NHS Community Voices Programme, Sector 3 have commissioned the support of seven anchor organisations to gather insights and feedback.
As trusted services with strong relationships within their communities, these organisations are the ideal partners to collect information from local residents.

As a key service provider to older residents across Stockport, AGE UK Stockport are able to obtain feedback from their vast network.

Through their targeted sports and wellbeing services and partnerships with GP Practices, BOOST CIC have built up strong connections with men living with health conditions in Stockport.

As the largest organisation serving Stockport’s Muslim community, Cheadle Masjid are perfectly placed to support the programme.

Stockport’s largest support organisation for people living with disabilities. Disability Stockport ensure feedback is inclusive of the experience of people living with disabilities.
