The Indices of Deprivation 2025- What does this mean for Stockport VCFSEs?

For VCFSE sector organisations delivering in Stockport, this is information session breaksdown the IoD headlines.

The Indices of Deprivation (IOD) are a set of measures of "deprivation" across Lower Super Output Areas (LSOAs) in England. Produced by Oxford Consultants for Social Inclusion for the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Goverment, they provide data that is widely used to inform policy, funding decisions, external reporting requirements, partnership priorities, and service planning.

For the VCFSE sector, this can provide information used in funding bids or to inform service delivery and advocacy.

This session, run by Phillip Taylor, BI Analytics Manager at Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, will be an hour-long information session on the headlines for Stockport. This will be on teams and you will receive the link one day before the start of the event.
